It is with sadness that today I received the belated news of Frank wheeler's Death. Frank flew many missions with Typhoons, one being the famouse Jericho raid where he led a Squadron of Mosquitos to Amiens, having trouble with his Tiffie he was late leaving and had to catch the mossie's up, full power and got to them just in time to lead them in, he fired off his rockets destroying the walls, then pulled round in circuit to see the prisoners coming out through the gap and running across the fields, in the short time that I knew Frank it was clear that he was a lovely guy, funny, proud and interesting, and least of all one of our saviours for today.
