wing tubes

Postby Nick Reeves 3055 » January 9th, 2016, 10:41 am

hi all,
i am looking for some advice on wing tubes/joiners. an upcoming project has got the stage of needing the wing joiner designed in but i need to know the OD of the phenolic sleeve. this brings me onto my question. which wings tubes are the best?? so far ive found Falcon Aviation, Fighteraces, and SLEC selling them. i have handled a piece of a falcon one and the tube seemed to have quite a bit of play in the sleeve. i have also read that this might be a common thing with falcon tubes. so what do others recommend?? i am looking for 1" or 25mm ID tube joiner with appropriate sleeves at 18" long.
thanks in advance
nick
