Cheap spektrum recievers

With the advent of Spektrum now operating from Germany and having little interest in the model shops in the UK, there are now reams of ar6210 and ar8000 recievers on ebay,that are made in China.
BEWARE !!!!! Over the last 3 months I have tested a fair few and every one I have tried have defective throttle inputs and no servo will work in them!! Plugging into the aux input makes the throttle work BUT you cannot reverse the servo travel when connected this way.
I have never had a problem with spektrum products when they were freely avaliable in the UK but it looks like I am being forced to buy Futaba or JR or similar ,in order to get a proper and reliable system. Nothing infuriates me more than unreliable radio !!!!
Has anyone else found these cheepo recievers as useless as I have ?

I've only ever bought Spektrum receivers from known UK retailers and all are fine. However, I suspect the market will soon become flooded with genuine Spektrum receivers, as people abandon Spektrum for other brands, particularly as the office in Germany doesn't seem to be hooked up to a phone or email!!
