Steve Rickets Shoestring

Postby paul hughes » January 19th, 2020, 3:15 pm

Congratulations to Steve Rickett who finally got his HAKits Shoestring finished and successfully test flew it yesterday. He has fitted it with a Saito 35 f/s engine which is more that enough power. Despite the 15mph cross wind it flew perfectly and landed like a dream all 4 flights ( one of them deadstick ) At one point the canopy became detached so a temporary fixing had to be found, but apart from that he is a happy chappy. Thanks to John Rickett for the photos.
