Hi all, this was emailed to the LMA website for anyone who is interested. :geek:

Authentic Model Airplanes
Hi ,

For our scale modelling friends out there who enjoy the challenge
of building their rc models just as close to the originals as
possible the guys at Copyzone have assembled a pack for anyone
building or planning to build a Mosquito.

Take a look at http://warbirdsrestoration.com/mosquito/ to find
out what's on offer.

Best regards

Bruce

and this was emailed today :geek:

Hi ,

Following the interest aroused by the Hurricane armaments
drawings WarbirdsRestoration.com have now assembled a special
pack of G.A. drawings for the Hawker Hurricane including several
for the Sea Hurricane which may well be of interest.

Get all the detail at
http://warbirdsrestoration.com/2010/01/ ... hurricane-
technical-drawings-ga-pack/

Regards

Bruce

Dave,
You beat me to the punch. I just drafted the following to post here and see you beat me to it.

When I teamed up with WarbirdsRestoration.com I assumed that it would be well known to LMA members but Dave Johnson just told me he was not aware if it so I'm assuming that lots of other members may also be in the dark.

WarbirdsRestoration.com is owned by Copyzone Archiving Ltd who have been working with the Battle of Britain Flight and Lincolnshire's Lancaster Association for a number of years to archive and preserve the available original manuafacturers drawings for a number of well known aircraft.

The site was originally intended for full scale restoration projects but those are obviously limited in number. But the same requirement for accuracy and authenticity obviously applies to scale modelers who are an increasing market for them.

Rather than my rambling on - much easier for you to go visit http://warbirdsrestoration.com.

Regards
Bruce Bird
