GEE BEE MODEL D

Postby Alan Cantwell 1131 » May 29th, 2010, 9:32 am

I am after a 3 view, this is the inline version, built more as a tourer than a racer, i have Ken Harts old crashed model fuselage, but no wing plan, this can be drawn if i can find a three view--or even better, a copy of the old coverite plane, that this model was enlarged from, must be 25years ago? i would like to get this model back in the air, but info is scarce, anyone assist??? i will buy beer, and provide women :D

Alan, Bobsairdoc.com (in the US) list 3 views for many Gee Bee's incl. Model "D" He also has walk around photo packs for nearly all of the planes in his catalogue. You can download his catalogue. The Gee Bees are in the section titled..."Racing antiques, Gordon bennet, Thompson, Bendix etc".
Hope this helps. (Beer and women by post, please )
Cheers,
Dave.
