Jeti 2.4Ghz equipment

Postby Dave Hayfield » November 10th, 2010, 8:09 pm

Anyone used any of the large range of Jeti radio units in their model? Would be very interested to hear of any problems or praise because conversion from 35Mhz to 2.4Ghz is on the horizon and the Jeti products, according to their website, delivers a good but not cheap conversion.

Dave,I have been using it for possibly 18 months now.No problems at all.I have it in my Multiplex 3030.I also have one of their height sensing modules,it is about the size of a 5pence piece and gives audio and visual indication of height and rate of climb or descent. It is nice to know when I am at 400ft.

Thanks for that Barrie, I have asked around at various flying meetings and no-one seemed to know anybody who was using Jeti, if there are problems with radio gear it doesn't take long for the grape vine to make everyone aware but I've not seen even a mention of Jeti either good or otherwise.
