More stunning photos I see from Neil Hutchinson and a personal thanks you to Neil, and indeed all the photographers, who help to remind us of good summer flying in the depths of this winter freeze!

As an aside, you "snapped" my Sopwith Pup very well in the photos on the LMA home page. If you look closely at the upper port wing tip you can see the damage sustained at the event when I bumped it into a door frame. Funny isn't it, I attended 10 fly ins this year with the Pup and the only damage sustained was at a "static" event at Gaydon! :D

I agree, photos are so clear and sharp - great stuff.
Your Pup obviously wasn't static enough

Hi Guys,

Its always nice to know that your work is appreciated. There quite a bit of messing around to get the pictures to a standard fit for the website/forum. All the pictures that make it onto the website/Journal (& there are quite a few more that don't, but are on the CD I send to Dave) go through Photoshop CS4. In the old days of rolls of film the developer sorted out a lot of the minor problems, but now with modern DSLR's its down to us to try and improve the picture. Each show takes me around about 20+ hours to sort all the pictures.

I'm pleased when you guys like what I do - many thanks. I have invested in some new & better kit for next year & hopefully I'll be getting even better pictures.

All the best,
Neil

PS Stuey, if you'd have mention the dent I would've Photoshopped it out for you
