Gaydon Static Show 23rd Oct

Postby david walker » August 2nd, 2022, 4:28 pm

Good evening to you all. You have now I hope seen the posting in the " Upcoming events " section for the Gaydon Static show on the 23rd October.

Now if this wasn't great news after our few years of absence I can now bring you all some more great news to go along with it.

In this weeks "Motor cycle news" The British Motor Museum in conjunction with Triumph motor cycles will showcase the historic "Daytona" motorcycle name which dates back to 1966. This will be the first time Motorcycles will have been displayed in the British motor museum and the show starts July 22nd and runs for 6 months. Just taking a short section of the article in MCN - the exhibit will take you through the Daytona journey being beginning with Bud Elsmores 1966 and look at Memorabilia and 16 Models of Triumph.
The Exhibition will be in the Rotunda Gallery and there will be no extra cost for entry.

You may not be a Motorcycle buff but it will be a chance for you to look at a slice of UK engineering history.

For those of you who read the MCN mag the article is on page 11 of the July 27th Edition.

Cheers Dave Walker LMA PRO
