E Flight question

My normal interest is petrol power 1/5 warbirds. I recently bought a 20cc size Hangar 9 P51 to keep my hand in over the winter.
It is fitted with an electric motor ( my first one ) Tornado Thumper 6354/16 and 500mAh 22.2v 6s Lipoly battery.
It is decidedly uninspiring power wise, should I get a bigger motor, if so, what would you recommend?
Perhaps a more powerful battery or both, what do you think?
