Hello all,
I’ve seen occasional references to a Gary Allen Bucker Jungmiester plan.
Does anyone have any details of where I could find out more about this plan/plane?
Many thanks

Hello
Thank you, I didn’t know he did a 1/4 scale one.
I was actually only aware of the 1/3 scale one.
I was thinking of the 1/3 scale Jungmeister.
Regards
Rod

Hi Rod,
I owned one of John's plan built jungmeisters, it was a gorgeous model, although I didn't build it, or get to fly it, as it had had many flying hours, and needed refurbishing, and a modern petrol engine & radio, sadly to say, I never got it finished, and sold it on to another LMA member, who did finish it, and flying again, he did it in the famous yellow Swiss scheme, which I was intending finishing it in, here is a photo of my Jungmeister from a previous owner.

The Gary Allen Bucker Jungminster Plan was introduced in 1940 and was one of the most unique and unusual aircraft designs of its time. The plane was designed to be used as a light bomber and scout. The airplane was quite compact, had crescent-shaped wings and an engine at the rear of the hull. It was also equipped with a retractable cannon and could carry up to 500 pounds of bombs. Although the plan was unique, it was not successful because of technical problems and a limited budget.
