It is with much reget that I must inform you of the passing of longtime member Tom Gallacher. He was a familiar face at shows until illness curbed his longer distance travels but he was one of the main "movers and shakers" in setting up the Strathaven shows in Scotland.
He also had a great interest in waterpanes and as an exceptonal builder, he built some of the rarer flying boats such as a scratch built Martin Mars and his last, unfinished project, a large Boeing Clipper.
He was a familiar face at waterplane events in Scotland and will be missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts are with Pat and his family at this time.
