Hi All,

Been doing a bit of 'Spring Cleaning' with the old photo files - saving some & getting rid of the majority. Anyway, thought I'd post a series of pics from last year.

Hi Neil, I see you have overcome your posting a picture problem, fantastic shots as always, but please don't post any you have sent me just yet otherwise I can't use them on the front page, keep up the good work. :geek:

Hi Dave,

Yes, all sorted - I had to resize in Photoshop, rather than Photobucket - it wouldn't work any other way. I wanted to keep the number of pictures to a minimum.

Thanks for the kind comment, Dave. Anyway a few more pics, seeing as I have a bit of time free, before heading to the frozen North! Although, to be honest the East Midlands ain't exactly the hottest place in the UK at the moment

What a superb set of photographs, someone in the LMA ought to be considering starting a comprehensive data base of
photographs, plans and video footage otherwise you will be wishing you had in 10 years time.
Neil, I dont know what your background is but congrats on a superb collection.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the nice comments, always gratefully received.

Last year I took over 6,000 pictures of model aircraft at various LMA shows, plus a couple of others. I am slowly going through the whole inventory - keeping the good & getting of the 'failures'! The modern DSLR cameras take pictures in either Jpeg, RAW files or both. I use maximum size RAW. The max RAW file from a Canon EOS 7d is just over 21 megs. So, it doesn't take long to fill quite a big computer hard-drive. So, far I have nearly 400 photos saved from last year + their DNG file, already. I expect to have around 7-800 total for last year by the time I finish.

Here's one that's been 'touched up'. The original was taken at East Kirkby.

& the rest were taken at EK but aren't on the CD I gave to Dave for the web site so I won't upset him :D

Occasionally I take stuff that's on the ground - an odd couple & a Lancaster

Look forward to some banter from this pair at Longhorsley!

Neil
