Hello Baz...

Cannot reply via message as you only gave email address.

The yak wont be ready for quite some time as got to get electronics yet ( Thank you to probuild)

i would guess it will fly at end of this year.

if you want to see more pictures of yak as have not updated on here due to lack of interest.. please go to www.bespokemodeldesign.co.uk/60yak54.asp

More pics will be added in few weeks when airframe is completed, and awaiting electronics

regards

Robbie

Robbie,
My son Simon and I have been most interested in your project and really look forward to seeing it fly, it's a beauty.
I would imagine many others feel the same, just because we do not post much does not mean a lack of interest in what others are achieving.

Hi All.

The Yak will more than likely be at cosford as a static, however, depends how far we get through the build as undercarrage is proving to be a dangerous game...

We are trying to do a scale suspension system on on as at 100lbs the undercarrage will be under alot of stress as it does not have any flex like carbon fibre undercarrages..... have to wait and see.

Im currently doing tests in cad on different methords of absorbing shock, but as loads are in wrong direction on landing ( not directly forward at 90 degrees) the undercarrage plate is breaking.

I would love it to fly at cosford ( that is what i aimed for) but money is holding back atm.... but it will defo be at cosford and other shows in 2011

As for pics not been updated on here, sorry that some members have been watching, it didnt seem apparent by posts, hence i stopped posting

Regards

Rob

I too have been looking in, perhaps now and again, we all should make our presence know in the build threads? my mate jonesy is building a well documented Ziroli B25 at 118" span, nice stage by stage photos, comments? NOTHING, i dare say the odd question now and again would do any builders good, must try harder
