Hi all,
I need to make it clear to our friends in the LMA about testing new models at Winterton as part of the LMA approval scheme.
Firstly let me make it clear - both the committee and the club are more than happy with the current arrangement of LMA members using WMFC for testing
their new builds providing they contact myself in advance to book in and of course make a donation to the cause if they are not WMFC members.
I know the vagaries of the weather play a part in this and we're not looking to hold them to a date/time just make sure that we are not using the field or at
least be able to advise them of what's going on.
Secondly we'd like to make sure that people are not testing new models at WMFC fly-in's, we think it wise that with so many people about as well
as other models and caravans that testing is only performed with the specific approval of the WMFC committee at these events they must contact me in
advance so we can discuss and come to some arrangement.
I know this will not effect the vast majority of the LMA members as those that currently use Winterton for testing nearly always phone to let us know
in advance. As they would mostly like a clear field and no distractions at such a time.
