AND SHE IS READY!!!

Well Folks,

Here is the last pics you will see of the 60% Yak 54....Before she flies..

It has taken us 14 Months Exactly to complete, But we can now say it is ready for her maiden...

Just waiting for the LMA to inspection at the Gaydon Event in a few weeks.( Or if the inspectors could pull there finger out..Coff Coff Dave Johnson Coff Coff Tony Hooper :lol: could be earlier )

So if it passes the inspection etc. It should be ready to fly mid to end of November

Looking good mate.

Cant wait to see it fly.

Just wondering, but with my 6 Yaks and what I was told by Quique Somenzini is that the prop has to protrude out of the cowl quite alot as if it is close you lose alot of power.

The full size is the same with it poking out.

Just a thought.

Hi Mike,
Yes you are correct, Normally the prop does come out of the cowl, however, as mine is scale by airframe, the engine will not be big enough to handel the 46 inch prop required to do this...

We are only running a 39 Atm for running in, but will soon need to go up to a 40.... every inch counts :) and then the 39 inch becomes a very expensive tent peg :lol:,
Its just the matter of sucking it and seeing
