Half size plane

Postby Andy Boylett » November 20th, 2010, 11:19 pm

I hadn't seen this before....a full size plane flying through the middle of an airshow and slicing an RC plane in half.....

This has caused quite a stir in the model and full scale world. Tha FAA is involved, but it seems that the full scale called for a landing, but decided to do a high speed pass down low with the resulting collision. As soon as the full scale landed, they hurridly hid it in a hanger.Poor or lack of communication somewhere down the line. It was a scheduled model event. Somebody lost the plot...bigtime! There is quite a long thread on "Flying Giants" forum.

The only good thing is that nobody was killed or injured.

That is madness, as you say lucky no one was injured. Could have been so much worse!
