With what looked like another very successful Much Marcle show now behind us there is now just one last LMA Flying Show on the calendar. Catton Park.

Dig out your Sunday best models and come along to see out the show season and help us to make it memorable end of season show. We can't do it without you guys. We also can't do anything about the cost of fuel but be assured that we will do our absolute best to ensure that you go away feeling that the cost of getting to Catton and home again was justified.

It may now be too late to book in your model with Phil but it might still be possible for you to have your name and model added to a list which can then be made available to our gate crews to be confirmed upon your arrival. We would prefer that you bring something that you intend to fly rather than just bring a model with you to gain free entry though. ( Yes.. We've all done it ).

If you just fancy what should be a great weekend of camping then you can pay on the gate so no need to worry about leaving it too late.
We are fairly confident that the kids and ladies will not be dissappointed.

The weather forecast for this coming week is pretty rotten as we have to suffer what remains of what was hurricane Irene. But that's fine by us because the ground here has remained firm and grassy plus we've ordered much better conditions for the weekend.

As Paul has reported--another brilliant weekend at Much Marcle---a big thanks to Bernard and the team for the great hospitality----we have another 11 pilots to put on our "BLACKLIST" for booking in and not turning up or even not phoning to cancel---this just wastes camping spaces that other pilots could have taken --plus messing up the slotting--so if anyone wants to book into Catton for what looks like another brilliant weekend,then please ring or email me to have your name put on the gate and slot lists,but please no more waste of spaces--if you cant make it PLEASE let us know---DAVE

I agree, the Events Team are getting pretty feed up with these pilots booking in and not turning up and don’t even bother to let us know, very selfish if you ask me, we had pilots on the reserve list that miss out this weekend, I am sure they are impressed with you that’s for sure.
On the other side it was a great weekend well done to all involved.

No problem with early arrivals from Thursday noon onwards Simon but the portable latrines won't be arriving until Friday morning so you will have to rely on your caravans onboard systems until then.
