I have just returned from a fantastic day out at the RAF Museum at Coningsby, where the LMA along with our friends from the Scottish Cadets displayed there mini Battle of Britain flight with the help of Tony Hoopers Lancaster---plus we handed over our cheqs from monies collected at LMA shows in the last 12 months. The day was part of the private Lincs Lanc association and in the brilliant sunshine we were treated to the most brilliant display i have seen from the Lanc plus 3 Spitfires,Hurricane and the DC3. We have promised to support this charity with collections at all our 2012 events with a view to returning next year with an even bigger sum,and in return i have been promised help where possible with flypasts etc at our shows---no doubt some of our guys will post some pics of the day--DAVE
