Flaperons - thoughts please

Hi all. i am quite new to the LMA and starting to get into larger models. My current models are not massive by any standards (around 80-90inches) but its a start I have a concern with one of my heavier models, a Cessna O2. I fly from a tarmac runway at Wroughton and the cessna rolls on and on after landing. It does not have flaps and retro fitting brakes is not feasible so i was looking at dialling in some flaperons to see if i can make slower approaches.
The wings have almost no sweep and almost square tips but i am still concerned whether flaperons might increase chance of tip stall. If any one has experience with whether this is a good idea or not it would be appreciated
