It is with great sadness to report to you the passing of Joan Salter after a very long illness.

Roy and Joan were the Journal editorial team and compiled Issues 30 -100, a truly remarkable feat in the history of the Association. For her efforts, Joan was made an Honorary Member none, may I say, more deserving.

Not only that Joan and Roy were great friends to me and many, many members who I am sure, will speak likewise.

We will not forget her -----.

Most assuredly in our thoughts at this time, Roy ---.
Best,
Keith

Oh dear, I just spotted this post, and am shocked to hear this very sad news, I got to know Joan and Roy quite well, a lovely couple who put their heart and soul into the LMA, Joan was also Roy's valued helper with his models, they were always seen together at LMA shows and fly-ins.

Roy and Joan were instrumental in giving encouragement and great help in launching me into my editorial ship of the LMA Journal and other successful articles that have been published under my pseudonym name "The Bard" which came about by Roy's comment in one of the Journals, that my style of writing was of likes of Shakespear, two people I will be eternally grateful to.

My deepest condolences and sympathy go out to Roy and his family, This lovely gentle lady will be greatly missed.
