LMA now on FaceBook

Hi all, just a quick update for you, The LMA have been on Youtube for a while now as I set up a page over twelve months ago, over the last two days I have now made our presents on Facebook, you will find the links on our website front page also I have link up Neil’s Flickr page. Hopefully it will make a one stop place for you all to find out what is happening.

Hi all, well it is clear that some of you have visited our FaceBook page it would be nice if a few more would and click the like button I would like to get the numbers up.

If not then I am wasting my time keeping it updated, remember it is there as a spinoff of our website and forum it is not just for you it’s another way of letting people know we excised and what we are all about, the more you visit the more it will spread, pretty simple really.

Please have a look, you never know you even mike like it. My thanks to all who has already clicked they like it and for the encouraging words from Bob and Vince.

Dave- I found it quite difficult to locate on your front page, may be it should be placed in a more obvious position, with an invite to 'like us on FB'?

Working on it Bob, but all attempts as failed up to now. There seems to be some script imbedded in our front page that doesn’t like the FaceBook code, however I will keep trying.

Where to put it on front page, there never seem to be a good answer to that, I thought at the top would be the best place as no one would have to scroll looking for it but as you have pointed out you found it difficult to find.

I shall pass it to the guys on my FB, if others do the same it will get round. It doesnt happen overnight, the page I put up for my band took 6 months to take off, but it is quite busy now.

Cheers Bob, every little helps, I am sure it will take off I just want our members to support it and help it on it way, we can’t stay in the last century the time has come to move on.
