Hi all,

looking for some build pictures showing the airframe of one of these. Does anyone have some they can post or e-mail to me please?

Interested in any experiences you have with this build.

Also has anyone added flaps to the original design?

Thanks Vince, I checked out Tony's webite (TND) and e-mailed Tony directly. He does not have any build photos as he never expected to kit it. in fact he does not kit it al all, the plans, cut parts and cowls/canopies are available as a pack from SLEC in Watton.

I live 27 miles from there and they offered to unroll the plan for my review before making a purchase. So I may do that.

Tony says Flaps are just not needed, but i still would want them as they are a thing of beauty on a slow low dirty pass or on finals. He reckons adding these as part of the build would be straightforward.

Unitracts do the retracts at a reasonable price... and only a two month lead time..

SLEC reckon they sell around 15 per year, wonder where they go to? Although they are easy(?) to build under 20kg so may not done under LMA cert....

So I will keep dreaming, this or a 96" Chilton, or a 33% DFW Floh or something else! Who knows I may have taken up boating by the time you read this!

One came here to Canada, but still sitting as I have absolutely no room left in the shop a 40% Waco and 136" "C" class Empire boat , along with 24 other assorted aircraft take up a LOT of floor space......maybe, one day...

BRILLIANT!

Just popped into SLEC at lunchtime, the plans are very straightforward and she seems a very good/easy build for a craft of this size.....
