No I don't.......the epoxy thinner I do carry is specifically intended for Klass Kote epoxy paints, not the skinning resin. Having never used it in the skinning resin, I cannot comment on whether it's OK to use or not (though I can't see why not if you choose to go down that route)

However, having retailed the L285 skinning resin for the past 4-5 yrs........this is the 1st time I've heard a report of it being too thick to brush. This resin is a lot thinner than the likes of ZAP Z-Poxy, SP113 etc.....and generally brushed and flows very easily. The only situation where it may not is if the resin has been stored in very cold conditions. Try bringing it up to room temperature before use but DON'T heat it prior to mixing as this will dramatically reduce your working pot life.

I generally don't recommend thinning skinning resins as from personal experience, the addition of a thinner often effects the final cured properties of the resin (doesn't cure as hard)

Thanks for the info Phil. As this is a rush job i took the risk of adding a few drops of Acatone, about 1:4, It seemed to brush on easier and this morning it looks good with no runs or visable brush strokes. I will leave it 24 hours before handling it, but i am happy with the result at the moment.

Meths or neat alcohol. That's it.
