Just noticed mine on the dining room table. Fantastic read as always, high Quality all the way through and finally a picture of my PC-9 gracing page 21 thank you. Although its not a Tuccano i'm afraid

A quick look through it and found it very nice. I am sorry to not have sent in the photo's I had taken at Strathaven.

Perhaps I can be excused as my wife is very ill with Motor Neuron Disease

Hi Bob T, Bob J, Alan and James, thanks for the feedback it is very much appreciated, James it is in my contract to get at least one plane or member wrong, sorry. Bob T I really appreciate your support even before you looked at it. Alan you have always told it as it is, respect for that. Bob J sorry you couldn’t send your pictures but I think you are excused.

Okay a little more feedback would be appreciated everyone; I need to judge I am still on the right track.

I have had (in the past) complaints over the way I presented some pages, so, I am not always right, you will have seen I don’t put text over pictures anymore I create a blank area for that this was the result of some members complaining to me about it. So you see your feed back is important to me. If you don't want to do it on a public forum then email me.

Had a look through the latest LMA journal, as usual it is well presented and interesting, perhaps the lack of feedback is because most people only speek up when something is wrong or they do not agree with it. therefor it is fair to assume that you are doing a good job with the journal, well I think so anyway and apreciate the effort put into producing it. Other than that all I can think of to say is Thank you.

Its an excelent read; it always is. Technical articles would be great, but of course if no-one sends them in...
I was staggered to read the club has a minimum age entry level! Can I ask in God's name what the thinking was behind that?

No worries Dave, the excitement of it being in the magazine was enough for me haha . Compared to some magazines out there this is a very well laid out and manageable journal. The ratio of pictures to text I think is good. Although there are probably more images in this one as it covers most of the events in detail. I very much like reading about how members build their larger models and I have enjoyed reading "and finally" sections like the one written by Terry Lee in this issue. In the end I can't fault it and i'm easily amused by the nice glossy pictures

Hi Ed, without opening a new debate on this thread I can’t answer your question, maybe a new thread or just come to the AGM where all your questions will be answered in the right environment.

James, glad you understand. This issue was always going to be dominated with the shows. The Terry Lee article is a good one and will be spread over the next few issues.

There is also some exciting stuff coming up for all you scale builders and of cause us novices, I have also been promised a great article for the engineers among us.
Mr Dawn Patrol himself Dave Tappin, gave me a huge article over twelve months ago now, about an interview he did with a German fighter Ace from WWII which needs re-typing for the Journal, I am hoping to do that over winter months, now that the shows have finished.

Remember! Your articles are very important in keeping this Mag alive, I didn’t get what is coming up in future issues by just sitting here and hoping something would turn up. There is some great skilled builders out there which could pass on the knowledge and skill to others, I understand it is not the same gratification as you get on the forums with the instant feedback, but being in print is a far better reference when you’re in the workshop than it is online, each one has its own rewards, I just hope some of you chose the latter, it would make my job a lot easier.

No problem Dave, I can't wait for more builders articles. Dangerous though as I may get ideas for wanting something larger . Already in trouble with models being on the dining room table.
