Hi all new to this site so please bare with me, I have built quite a few scale models over the years from free flight, control line and rc. thought I would rekindle the old flame and have a go at my favorite aircraft the aero commander, found the Palmer plans on the web and placed the order. When they arrived my 1st thought was how detailed they were and this was a big aircraft. I started from scratch photo-copying the parts and then cutting them out, but soon found out that not a lot lined up had to alter quite a few parts to get them to fit properly, anyway after a year I'm about half way through got a cockpit kit from dynamic balsa, retracts from centry jets and engine cowlings and fibreglass parts from fibre n more, only got 1 engine so far a saito fa91 4 stroke using 13x8 3 bladed prop, so could do with another saito if anyone has a cheapie for sale ?. More to the point anybody else built this model and had similar problems would love to know and any hints or tips would be great. Thanking you nice folks in advance and will post some pics later. Great models on this site will join when ready to fly. happy flying all. bye for now.
Steve

Hi Ken, thanks for your comments I am in a far out place where the concrete cows live,
called milton keynes. Yes not to many civillian aircraft about, hopefully this will be a nice one when all done, not on facebook though so not to sure how to put some pics on this site. any idea's would be great. Last big plane I did was a mk 9 spit but got into trouble with the ministry because of the reg number I used ooops that was back in the eighties. So long time since I have built anything I have until recently been flying Heli's a Nexus 30 which will be going up for sale soon to nerve racking but nice heli.
Steve.
