Large Model Association Forum

Hi all, for those of you that wasn’t at the AGM yesterday I have now officially step down as website/forum administrator and handed it over to Steve Kasch, I would like you all to join me in welcoming Steve into the roll.

Steve has just posted a brief rundown of how the AGM went so why not pop over to the website and have a quick read. I will remain in the background for the immediate future but please send all your queries to Steve though the website email system.

I am looking forward to having a bit more time now to enjoy my hobby once again, the last few years have took their toll and as a result my flying has suffered, I need to get some stick time in so here’s hoping for a dry winter with plenty of that wintery sunshine.

The Journal is well underway and should be on your doorstep the week before Christmas, so all that remains for me to say is a big thankyou to all that has supported me with the website and forum and I hope to see most of you in the New Year.

Opps! Almost forgot, a special big thanks to Neil Hutchinson for all the wonderful pictures he has provided me with over the years for the site, Neil has very kindly offered to extend his services to Steve. Right must go and see what can find to put on the front cover of the Journal.

I think the thanks are due to you Dave, and lots of them, now then, if you are going to THAT place on sunday, you are expected to bring a model with you, and not a camera or writing pad
(cant put smilys in, dont know why, but insert a nice one where ever you want)

Sorry to hear you are stepping down, but i hope you get plenty of flying in i think everyone would agree that on your watch the journal and website have been brought right up to date with any professional organisation in the world and its a credit to both you and everyone else involved. Looking forward to see what the future holds. Good look with the flying see you soon.
