Membership Renewal

I recall that at the AGM it was stated that renewals could be done online.
I can see the normal renewal form, but it needs to be snail mailed with a cheque.
Is the new system live yet, if so could you aim me at the right place on the website.
Thanks
Dave B.

Dave,

We're just testing the online payment page, and it will be available in the next day or so. I'll put details on here when it's up and working.

Right then, the online renewals are now live, under the 'membership' tab on the main menu above.

Roll up, roll up & send us your digital money!

If anybody has any problems or issues, please let me know.

Finally, the LMA is catching up with these modern times of online bookings and payments. I just paid my renewal fee via paypal. No more forms, self addressed envelopes or 65 pence stamps to bother with.

Brilliant progress and a long time coming.

Well done.

Paul.

Just one little gripe, why do we have to insert a mobile phone number.I make about one call a year just to avoid being disconnected. It took me longer to find my number, than to write out a cheque and walk to the post office.I think it is called progress

Barrie, I'll tell you a secret, as long as you promise not to tell anyone...

All the boxes on the form are just text boxes, so you can actually type anything you like in them, it just needs to be something. So, if you've not got a mobile or never use it, just put 'none' or similar in the box and all will be well.

You could do the same in every box, but as we need to contact everybody occasionally & send out journals etc, there wouldn't be much benefit.

Glad everybody basically likes the facility so far!
