I've put this on the General Discussion Topics on purpose in order to continue to try to encourage as many of you guys in LMA land as possible to help us pull off something a bit special this year.
Cosford Museum are really interested in promoting our special WW1 and WW2 tribute slots that we are planning for this years Cosford show although for obvious reasons they are particularly pushing the 100 anniversary WW1 tribute slots and advertising it accordingly.
We have a pyro team who now have a much better understanding of our needs. They are really keen to do us proud. We have also produced a special, epic backing audio track like never before. ( a different track for WW1 on the Saturday and WW2 on the Sunday but both have a similar theme of epic'ness about them)
I have asked the boss if the LMA would be willing to make a small concession in order to encourage more 1/4 and 1/3 WW1 model owners to bring along their WW1 models and be allowed to fly them with the appropriate proficiency pass or just put them on static display even if they haven't previously booked them in. The response was very positive, so no excuses guys, let's have a combined show of WW1 models the likes of which have never been seen before. Please drop Dave Johnson a line just to confirm your intentions.
Also, if there is anyone or anyone's out there who could possibly knock us up some quite large card board hangars and building for the Cosford show......We just want to blow them up so they don't have to be overly elaborate or detailed.
