Sensational

On the Sunday morning at the Cosford Large Model show, the combined forces of both the Catton 1/4 scale WW1 team and the 1/3 scale Dawn Patrol pulled off an amazing sight that I very much doubt has been seen before in the world of large model aircraft nor one that is likely to ever be repeated anywhere in the world.

23 (yes..23 ) large and very large WW1 model aircraft took to the air and created a truly awesome sight. Almost 50 guys and girls on the flight line ensured that the slot went to plan and all 23 models made it safely back onto terra firma again.

Words like sensational, incredible and brilliant were heard coming from long standing LMA members of whom had previously thought that they had seen it all at our shows.

I'm sure some positive comments, pictures and video clips will surface soon but in the meantime I feel a "Thank You" and a big "Well Done" is justly deserved. It took a hell of a lot of bottle from all of you pilots and you all worked together incredibly well in order to make it all happen.
