dural aluminum

please can somone point in the direct of where to purchase dural aluminium in 1/4"/6mm,

i need it for an undercart, 15kg model, cessna 182

also how would you go about bending it, is there a required method

Material supplier is:
John Keatley Metals
Birmingham
0121 236 4300

Material required is 2014 T6
They will cut to size and post to you.

Rub soap on back face of the metal,at the bend position.Heat with a blow torch on the front face until the soap turns black,then bend around a radius.
I clamp the metal in a vice between the jaws and a 1" diam steel bar,I then clamp a long bar the the u,cart and bend the leg to the required angle.Dont forget,it is hot.

Can i just point out here, that the working time of T6 is at best, limited when soap blackeningly hot, if all you have is a hammer, and a small vice, your going to struggle, better to buy a commercially available item, or a composite one,

£120 imported from usa, £30 for ali, i have oxy gas mix, and soap the shape is quite simple to bend
