Another fine model tested at Woodford

Postby Dave Parry » February 11th, 2015, 10:11 pm

Hi all, again I was privileged to be witness to another fine model being put though its paces at Woodford over the weekend. Graham Ailsby, owner and builder of the Wendell Hostetler Skymaster 336, Span 120", Length 92.8", Weight around 24Kg, Scale 26%, Engines 2x MT57.

Tests went as follows: So far it has had about five test flights at Woodford with Dave Johnson, it seems to fly and sound lovely, one flight so far had to be aborted when a rear engine mounting came loose and caused some problems, hopefully, that is now sorted, it continues on its test flights. Pictures taken by Graham.
