Best place for USA national markings

Postby Alan Cantwell 1131 » April 12th, 2015, 6:27 pm

My corsair, 88" top flite, is going to be having a make over, i am looking for the correct size national markings, i just want to stick them on, so as thin as possible, waterslide, or vinyl, stars, bars and lettering, stencils for the usual things, no step here sort of thing, My mate Alans just put his on from his Byron kit, they look superb, Any pointers? Or do you guys have other ways of doing it?

Alan,

Have you tried Nigel at Flightline Graphics? He'll definitely be able to sort you out.

Another vote for Nigel @ Flightline........he does the small nomenclature stencilling in either water slide of dry set rub on (be prepared to pay for the rib on though, they are very expensive, but this is the same everywhere.....down to the manufacturing process apparently). He does excellent paint masks for all of the larger insignia & lettering, but of you want vinyl stickers, he doesn't do these. I've used Pyramid Models for matt vinyl decals a couple of time with excellent results.

Phil
