A BIG THANK YOU !
Brilliant day today at Cosford.
Arrived early, (well apparently just after the Rain had stopped !) did everything, all the trade stands, plus museum, Watched the planes, plus the flightline walk.
I asked my two boys, 11 and 14 on the way back "What was the best bit?", Thinking they would say "We have stood next to a REAL Spitfire and Hurricane"
They both replied "The flightline walk, and getting close to the planes, that was brilliant" .
They were "WOW" with the attention detail, Both rushing round taking pics of the cockpit details ! (They know not to touch !, or sit an a wing !!)
They both have taken hundreds of pictures of all your planes ! (As I have), absolute highlight for all of us.

I also could not believe the entry price of just £10, and that included free shuttle bus, and free access to the museum.
Ridiculously cheap for a full days entertainment for me and my two boys in my view.
Can you also thank the commentator, on the ball, knew what planes were what, and gave some great facts, that made a great difference.
Also thanks to the two guys who took us round the flightline.

Again Many thanks - We had a brilliant day.
Regards
John, Felix and Jasper.

When i had the idea of the flightline walk, i never dreamed it could bring so much pleasure to so many, and raise so much money, i am really glad you enjoyed it, Will we see you at Elvington? Home of yet another, not as big, but superb useum in 3 weeks?

You have only got to look at the faces of my two boys !
and the amount of pictures they took !!
(we all fly RC, so they know not to touch)
They absolutely loved the flight line walk.
appreciate the risk here both to models and Insurance
Sitting on one side of the fence, we just see a big plane.
But getting really close up, wow, they were both blown away with the level of detail, and more importantly appreciated it, rivet details, rigging, Pilots etc etc.

Couple of vids
Youngest control line first attempt, We have never laughed so much,
Deathly silence when it goes in, and then we start laffin (actually no damage done)

Hovis lite 1st moves.

Modelling should "capture the imagination" and be "fun".
Tis where I live ? !!

reminds me of my first attempt with a control line, don't think I got as far as your youngest and also vidio cameras weren't invented back then.
Good to see the young ones enjoying the show.

Well that is what it is all about, so glad you and your family enjoyed the weekend plus you also think you got value for money. We can't ask for anything more than that and I am sure the boys and girls who work there sock off all weekend will feel the same.
