Forum Software Update Monday 1 February

Postby Rob Buckley » January 27th, 2016, 7:24 pm

We will be upgrading the LMA forum to the latest software version on Monday 1 Feb.

As an unfortunate by-product, none of the passwords will be transferred over (everything else will though), so for your first login after the upgrade you’ll have to click ‘I forgot my password’ and get a new password emailed to you.

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED EMAIL 1 OF 2 ABOUT THE FORUM UPGRADE, YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AS BELOW.

If you did get the email, the forum knows your current email address.

To make sure you get the new password, the forum needs to know your email address. You told it when you first registered, but if you’ve changed email address since then and not updated the forum you’ll need to do it now. Instructions are in the following link-

https://www.largemodelassociation.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/HowToChangeEmailOrPasswordOldForum.pdf

The member’s area and the forum are completely separate, so even if you can log into the member’s area with your current email address the forum might not be up to date.

Once you’ve got your new password on the new forum emailed to you (after the upgrade on 1 Feb), you can change it to one you can remember using the instructions in the following link-

https://www.largemodelassociation.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/HowToChangeEmailOrPasswordNewForum.pdf

You do not need to do anything until after the upgrade on 1 Feb, and if you have any problems, please contact website@largemodelassociation.com

Thanks very much

Sorry if this is an idiotic question, but is there a quick way to see "New Posts" other than going through all the forum topics?

Cheers,
Dave.

Well it seems most of the passwords managed to make the long and arduous journey to the new forum...which is nice!
