Diatex covering

Postby Joshua Henderson » February 21st, 2016, 9:03 pm

Hello Everyone,
I am after a bit of advice please. I have bought Doug Rigbys Old Citabria pro (14ft wingspan).

Initially I was just going to revamp it, however after further inspection I have decided to do a full refurb.

The model is re registered etc.

I am looking at using Diatex covering but not sure what i need exactly and where the cheapest place would be to buy it.

Can anyone help with info??

Kind regards

Josh

Diatex is great, most of my models are covered in it. You need Diatex 1000, it comes on a roll 60" wide so is quite economical even for very large models. you will also need some Low taut Nitrate dope and some brushes. They also sell fabric cement but I prefer to use balsaloc as it is much easier to use.

Regards

John
