Sorry to hear that Roy is not in the best of health. We served together on the LMA committee throughout the nineties. He
is one of the good guys and I have many happy memories of the Cosford shows of that time. I too bought one of his many models, he was a prolific builder. The model that I bought from Roy was a large and ugly Precedent T180. ( Much changed from the standard build) this was at the inaugural Meeting of the Catton Garden Party. The T180 is still flying regularly to this day. Hopefully, our editor will soon find a place in the Journal for the story of this unusual bird. Look out for the "Aspidistra".
