7Kg to 20Kg guidance

As long as it is not for a public show or event, and have the clubs permission, can I fly a model between 7Kg and 20Kg at the club flying site without a certificate of competence, and still be covered by the LMA insurance scheme ?
(flying in accordance with CAP658 and the ANO)
Looked through the handbook, but not sure of the answer.

Yes. BMFA and LMA insurance will cover you. But many clubs (as mine) insist on a B certificate for over 7kg
