Hi All
Last year I bought a 2nd hand Zenoah G62 I fitted it to a new project and today decided to give it a run. Unfortunately it appears it has a bent crank so I've either got to get it straightened or get another new crank does anyone know of anyone who can either straighten the one I have or is it a case of a total rebuild ??
Many Thanks
Stephen

A new one will cost you over £100 so its worth trying to knock it straight. Alan Cantwell used to, but he got too many that were just too far gone so gave up. May be a piece of 1/2" steel drilled like a propeller and tap the tips with a mallet?

Yes, only do engine work for my inner circle now, Keith Mitchels pal Ken Rondham does them, sorry if its spelt wrong, As a matter of fact, i stopped doing them when a pillock got uppity over the cost, then came back when he found the price of new parts, needless to say, i can do without it, at £25, it was beer money at most

Well I would've said that was pretty reasonable to be honest Alan. Mine is about 3-4mm out at the spinner tipnot sure if that's a mile out or just a bit.

Thats a lot! The flywheel and prop driver will need looking at too, sounds like its more than a displacement,
