Hi,
I have used ThermaCowl heat activated cowl flaps on my Corsair for many years. It was made by Oregon Scale Aviation Inc but I can't find them anymore.
Does anybody know of a similar product?
The engine heat is sensed by a thermal probe which drives the cowl servo open and closed.
Has worked perfectly even in a harsh environment for about ten years.
