Can anyone confirm the diameter and length of the Pacific Aeromodels Gee Bee Y (ARF) cowl please?
(It's the 82" one that was well used by the Gee Bee team over the past few years).
These are available from Fibreglass specialties in the 'states but think it might be a bit too big for what I need.
I'm looking for something similar in appearance at around 9" dia. x min 6" long if anyone has anything suitable lying around?

Andrew, try Fiberglass Specialties in the US. They have loads of different diameter cowls...

I can measure one of mine and get back to you. I used a Harvard cowl from Carbon Copy on one but had to extend it. Also does not have the 'bumps' in it. That suited the version I did.

Thanks very much guys.
I thought the Gee Bee cowl, although the right shape, might be a bit too big...and clearly it is..!
Looking for between 9 to 9 1/2" dia. and min. 6" deep - it's to hang on a Jiant Jabberwock.
The original design cowl, still available from Sarik I think, just looks too small at 8 1/2"
