100 years of the RAF

Postby david walker » March 20th, 2018, 8:37 pm

Just a quick note which may be of interest to all,

If you are interested in the above subject the following is coming up on the telly,

BBC 1
SUNDAY 25TH MARCH
20-30 through to 22-00

"RAF at 100"
Presenters Ewan McGregor and his brother

So if you get back from Haydock in time, put the feet up, have a small aperitif, sit back and enjoy.

Cheers Dave Walker

Watched it twice. Really enjoyed it. I have the utmost respect for the ladies in the ATA. Very brave...and delivered aircraft even when the weather was too bad even for the military

The WW1 dogfight was brilliant. The Vulcan Falklands Black Buck mission should have been featured big, and the 1920 - 30 bits were missing. But in the time they had it was good.
