Van Insurances

hay all

one for the hobby van users

which is the best insurance companies for van insurance for hobby use

looking at a VW LWB HT crafter

all advice welcome

According to my wife ( 50 years as an ins underwriter) !!
Just private use is ok , unless you are selling models etc then you need business insurance. I hope this helps !!

That sounds about right !! Contact your insurers and they should be able to sort it for you.

Richard the problem you might have is your car no claims on non transferable to van insurance and also check you have the right licence as well you may have to do a towing test depending on the wheelbase of the van

i have my Driving/towing up to 7.5 tons on my license as i past before new rules came in,

As for no claims bonus, that is usually only applicable to just ONE vehicle ( the main vehicle) you own.
If you purchase a second vehicle to use , NCB isn’t usually allowed on the second vehicle.
Classic insurance say for a collection of classic motorcycles, is avaliable, to cover whatever amount you own , on ONE policy.
I’ve done that and got the T shirt also !!!
