silencing

Postby paul hughes » June 9th, 2018, 7:01 pm

I have a twin cylinder engine which is a bit noisy. It has 2 exhaust canisters bolted directly to the heads, there is no silencing in the cans and the exhaust gas goes straight through. Is it possible to add something to baffle the noise. Thanks

Hi Paul
There will be an article on the sid king silencer coming in the LMA journal shortly. These will definitely work to make your engine a lot quieter.
If you want a copy, I can email it to you before the journal comes out.

Could take a look at these from Morrisminimotors. Either copy and paste the item number below into ebay search bar or copy and paste the address into your browser.

The difference between a piece of silicone tubing and a gizmo inside it compared to a properly designed item that is based on a gun silencer is like chalk and cheese lol
Sid Kings design is well proven AND IT WORKS.

May be, but anything that takes the harsh bite from a DLE engine is to welcomed.
