I've just been going through the photo's I took yesterday and this one didn't look correct, it appears only one elevator is working ? or is it normal for this Bristol ?

It's an illusion. In plan form the in-board elevator edges form a "V", so the elevator nearest the camera looks as if it is giving "up".
