It is with sadness i have just discovered that a long time member of the LMA, Mike Standing has passed away. Mike was well known around the shows and fly-ins during the 90's and 00' but ill health over the past few years has stopped him from flying and then more recently attending. For part of his interesting life Mike was a target drone pilot for the RAF, he would keep us entertained with tales of his exploits and mishaps, whilst enjoying a whiskey in the awnings in the evening.
Mike Passed away on the 5th December 2018. R.I.P
