Hi Peter
I am a pilot myself and have a proficency but do not fly at the shows, I'm to busy doing the camping, or making myself available for any unforseen job that may crop up, or when in the pits make myself available if someone needs a helper.
For me, It's not what can I get, It's, who and how can I help.

Hi

Just a quick ask from a traders point of view, if the dual flight line is to go ahead where with the model traders all be located?

At one flight line or other flight line or somewhere else?

How would spectators get from one flight line to the other?

IAN----This was only agreed at the meeting on Sunday ---so all details havnt been thrashed out yet----but it will be one long trade line as normal ---if you want to especially be near one of the lines then Paul will be able to arrange that nearer the time----we will be looking for any LMA Traders who want to display models on the second line ---it will be limited so probably no fast jets or anything that uses a lot of sky as we don't want any clashes with the main show line---but prop hanging aero teams/and foamy type slots that traders may be selling could be flown to attract the public to see and buy from the stands----in fact we are open to any ideas to promote the show and modelling in general----

Dav

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post.

Anything you can do to attract more people has to be a good thing for all.

Once you have the final details thrashed out it would be appreciated if you could keep me informed of the layout, distances etc

Am I correct in saying any trade flying slots will be at the foamy flight line and not on the main flight line?

Iain---not really----but the second line will be more restricted for flight distance we think---so really looking for things like the Big 3d Aeros that mainly prop hang ---etc and the Foamy type trade slots that don't take up too much distance----we are just aware of the distance away from the main show line---the last thing we want are any mid airs etc---but I am confident we will sort it---

Just wondering how these changes will work regarding other LMA shows ie Tibenham [Is it lost and gone forever or can
traders and the public be encouraged to return} Also a possible replacement for East Kirkby, is anything on
the horizon and will potential traders be contacted and encouraged by the exciting improvements that are proposed,
if indeed these improvements will apply to the smaller shows.
Is the policy to put all our eggs in a couple of baskets or can we look forward to enjoying continuation or
additions to our show list.

How about introducing an air race. limbo comp. air combat with trailing balloons. flight sim tent where members could give anyone an introduction into model flying

Airrace with large models, yes, in fact, we’re are all the Schneider seaplanes that we’re planned years ago? Make a fantastic spectacle, limbo comp with larger limbo dancers would be interesting! There will be a trainer flying, so folks can have ago,

You could always invite the BMFA to bring their simulator trailer along. Make for good inter association PR
