Hi all,
Still new to this leccy business, and in need of advice.

Is it ok to use magnets to hold removable cowl in place, near a brushless motor?

I would like to mount them where indicated by yellow dots in the picture, but not sure if they would effect the motor.(4.5 kw brushless outrunner).

Magnets are neowatsit 3mm thick X 15mm diameter, quite powerful. (2kg pull strength according to the packaging).

No problem there.

It might be an issue if you were using large magnets to hold something directly to the motor, otherwise do not worry about it
