Roughing the surface with some wet and dry helps everything to key.

Proper impact adhesive, (the smelly sort) thinned with thinners. Or Copydex.

There’s a guy in Tasmania on the rcscalebuilder site who builds very large models and uses tremendous amount of lithoplate and always uses double-sided tape - obviously strong variety .

Yes that's Ken on RCSB. He uses 3M high adhesive double sided tape or Evostick contact adhesive.

Re: Sticking lithoplate
Thanks guys, that's a big help. I've previously used epoxy, on the advise of a club member, with varying degrees of success. Thought I'd through it open to the professionals this time.
I'm currently working on a 1/4 scale Bucker Student from the Jerry Bates plan, having almost finished a Genysis.
I'll maybe post a build thread as my club wants me to do one.
Thanks again,
Dougie.

Sorry, should read "throw it open to the professionals this time."
