2020 Renewals

Postby Lynne Roberts » December 1st, 2019, 8:15 am

Just to let you all know that the 2020 renewals on this website should be up and running in a couple of weeks time, the delay being due to this new registration.

Online renewals are now available, in the members area as usual.

New for this year is the option to request that we register you as an operator with the CAA. If you do not select yes, we won;t register you.

If you renewed at the AGM it will take Lynne a little while to enter your renewal details, so remain calm, you don't need next years membership document for a couple of weeks, so give Lynne half a chance.

If you selected the option on the renewal form at the AGM to request CAA registration, you don't need to do anything else, it will all be processed at the end of January.

That's fine Rob, just flagging it up in case there was a glitch that had gone undetected.

The email you received confirming your membership renewal has a link in it to download your membership document, or if you go into the members area you can also download it from there at any time.

Rob- I found that, after I had paid, there was no way to download the card. I had to go back and start again with the log in and go from there. May be a link could be added? Or have I just missed something?

Where it says 'Welcome [your name]' top right, click on that and you'll be taken back to your member home page where you can download you card. And there's a direct link to your card in the renewal conformation email

I just renewed my membership online, chose to be registered with CAA, paid with PayPal, but then saw that the £9 fee for the CAA had not been included in the payment. As I have the required proficiency ertificates I expected the CAA fee to be taken with the sub - so what happens next?
